Active Life Chiropractic & Laser
Relief for Burning, Tingling, and Numbness
If nerve pain or loss of sensation is limiting your life, our evidence-informed neuropathy program blends chiropractic care, SoftWave® Tissue Regenerative Therapy (TRT), and PowerMedic GigaLaser™ photobiomodulation to calm irritated nerves and support your body’s natural healing.
Common Symptoms We See
- Burning, tingling, “pins & needles,” electric shocks in feet or hands
- Numbness or reduced ability to feel temperature and pain
- Night-time worsening, balance issues, or muscle weakness
What Is Peripheral Neuropathy?
Peripheral neuropathy is irritation or damage to nerves outside the brain and spinal cord. Common contributors include blood sugar dysregulation (including diabetes), nerve compression or entrapment, injuries, certain medications, and autoimmune or metabolic factors. A precise assessment helps us tailor the most appropriate plan for you.
Our Three-Pillar Approach
1) Chiropractic Care
Gentle, targeted joint and soft-tissue care can improve mobility, ease mechanical nerve irritation, and enhance blood flow. For spine-related nerve pain (e.g., sciatica/radiculopathy), restoring motion and reducing compression can reduce symptoms and improve function.
What this may include: personalized adjusting styles (including instrument-assisted options), neural-glide and stability exercises, and ergonomics/movement coaching.
2) SoftWave® Tissue Regenerative Therapy (TRT)
SoftWave uses broad-focused acoustic waves to stimulate cellular signaling associated with tissue recovery. Sessions are non-invasive and typically 10–15 minutes. Most patients describe a deep, therapeutic sensation over irritated tissues.
Highlights: large therapeutic field, designed to promote healing responses without injections or surgery, and no downtime.
3) PowerMedic GigaLaser™ Photobiomodulation
The GigaLaser provides high-coverage near-infrared and red light over a large region—ideal for feet, calves, or lower back—supporting circulation, mitochondrial function, and tissue recovery while easing nerve-related discomfort.
Highlights: large treatment field for consistent dosing, comfortable non-invasive sessions, and excellent synergy with SoftWave.

Neuropathy FAQ
Will this cure my neuropathy?
No single therapy is a guaranteed cure. Our goals are to reduce pain and tingling, improve function and balance, and address mechanical contributors while coordinating with your physician on underlying causes (such as blood sugar management).
Is SoftWave painful?
Most people tolerate SoftWave well. You’ll feel pulsed acoustic waves; intensity is adjusted to comfort. Sessions are brief and there’s no downtime.
How many visits will I need?
Plans are individualized. Many begin with 3–6 weeks of care; chronic cases may benefit from a staged plan followed by periodic supportive care.
Are there any contraindications?
We avoid treatment over active infection, open wounds (unless using specific laser wound protocols), malignancy in the treatment field, pregnancy over the abdomen/low back, over growth plates in children, or over implanted electronic devices without clearance. We review your health history first.
