Cold Laser – Class 3
We have the best quality cold laser available. Our laser uses the latest technology to help reduce pain and inflammation. Cold Laser Therapy uses specific wavelengths of light that interact with tissue to help accelerate the healing process. This low-intensity laser therapy stimulates healing while using low levels of light. The technique is called “cold” laser therapy because the low levels of light aren’t enough to heat your body’s tissue.
Laser treatment can take as little as 5 minutes, or as long as 20 minutes. The total number of treatments is generally 8-15 depending upon many factors which will be evaluated by the doctor.
Low-level cold laser therapy is effective pain relief for:
- Minor injuries and sprains
- Inflammation
- Aches and pains
- Skin rejuvenation
- Wound healing
- Diabetic Neuropathy
- Arthritis
Supportive Evidence:
A study in the August 2000 Journal of Rheumatology compared the outcomes of laser therapy used to treat osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Patients with rheumatoid arthritis treated with laser therapy had a 70% reduction in pain compared to the placebo group.
